The Metamorphoses of Ovid serves as the inspiration for 10 paintings. These paintings portray landscapes envisaged by waking and unconscious dreams. Ovid's account remains a memory alongside an interior symbolic language of words and images. My aim is to convey a comprehensive abstraction that also honors the text.
